Expanded Fourth of July Weekend Hours.
More Blood Centers Open Independence Day Weekend to Accommodate Blood Donors and Prevent Shortage
In an effort to make it more convenient for people to give blood and to ensure an available supply to patients, Puget Sound Blood Center will expand hours at some of its 11 donor centers during the Independence Day weekend.

On the Fourth of July, which this year occurs on a Friday, the 10 donor centers that are normally open on Fridays will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Federal Way Donor Center, normally closed Fridays, will also be open from 8 a.m. to
4 p.m. on the Fourth of July.
On July 5, centers normally open on Saturdays - Bellevue, Bellingham, Everett, Olympia, Seattle, Silverdale, Tukwila and Vancouver - will maintain regular hours. Additionally, the Lynwood and Federal Way centers will be open from 8 a.m. to
4 p.m.
On July 6, centers normally open on Sundays - Federal Way, Lynnwood - will maintain 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. hours. In addition, two other centers - Bellevue and Tukwila -- will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On Monday, July 7, donor centers in Bellevue, Federal Way, Lynnwood, Olympia, North Seattle, and Seattle will maintain
regular hours of operation. In addition, the Bellingham, Everett and Silverdale centers will be open from 8 a.m. to
4 p.m.
