Four people were shot on the street early Friday morning in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood on Chicago's West Side, but none of their wounds was believed life-threatening.
All four suffered leg wounds, Chicago police said, and one was also wounded in the arm.
Three of the victims were taken to Stroger Hospital and the fourth to St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital, said Chicago Fire Department spokesman Kevin MacGregor.
The shooting happened about 12:40 a.m. in the 4200 block of West Potomac Avenue.
The victims, two males and two females in their late teens and early 20s, were standing on the street when an unidentified gunman opened fire, police said.
Investigators could not provide a description of the gunman, or a motive. No one was in custody this morning.
Grand-Central Area detectives were investigating.
