A former grade school principal in Nippersink District 2 in McHenry County pleaded guilty Tuesday to molesting one of two teenage girls in a suburban Milwaukee motel, officials said.

Daniel Markofski, 47, of Manitowish Waters, Wis., pleaded guilty in Milwaukee County Circuit Court to having sexual contact with a minor and two counts of exposing minors to harmful material.

Sentencing is set for Oct. 29.

Markofski, the former principal of Spring Grove School in Spring Grove, was arrested April 5 in the Milwaukee suburb of Glendale, Wis.

Authorities said he took two Milwaukee-area girls, ages 15 and 16, to a motel for a weekend that included alcohol, marijuana,  sexual abuse  and pornography.

Markofski, then of Richmond, was fired in April by the Nippersink District 2 school board.
