Man found fatally shot on West Side

Officers responded at about 6 p.m. and found the man--identified as Oscar Santana, 20, of the 1800 block of West 21st Place--lying in the 2100 block of South Damen Avenue with a gunshot wound in his head, police said.

Santana was pronounced dead at the Cook County medical examiner's office at 7:45 p.m., an office spokesman said.

Harrison Area detectives are investigating.
