Man killed in Southwest Side shooting

A 22-year-old man was killed in an apparent gang-related shooting Tuesday night on Chicago's Southwest Side, police said early Wednesday.

The shooting happened about 8:15 p.m. in the 5400 block of South Mozart Street in the Gage Park neighborhood.

The victim, identified as Antonio Duenes, 22, of the 4700 block of South Kedvale Avenue, was dead on the scene, officials said.

Police said the shooting appeared to be gang-related but they couldn't elaborate.

Wentworth Area detectives were conducting a homicide investigation.
