A 27-year-old man was fatally wounded in the chest Tuesday night as he sat on his porch on the Far South Side, ran upstairs to his apartment and collapsed.
The shooting happened in the 9200 block of South Dobson Avenue (map).
Latodd Williams, 27, was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn shortly before 10 p.m., officials said.
No one was in custody. Calumet Area detectives were investigating.
