A Chicago construction worker died Thursday morning after falling 6 feet from scaffolding and breaking his neck outside a home in Morton Grove, police said Friday.
Marrecin Waz, 30, and his crew were tuckpointing a home in the 7800 block of Luna Avenue, Morton Grove Police Cmdr. Brian Bolger said.
Waz, of the 5600 block of Berteau Avenue, was alone on the scaffolding and was discovered by other workers after he fell. Bolger said police believe he may have had a medical condition, that caused the fall.
He was pronounced dead a short time later at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.
