Boca Raton woman moves up the ranks with United Jewish Community

xnxfpgbrfNimhauser827.jpgBoca Raton resident Cindy Orbach Nimhauser recently was named head of the United Jewish Community’s National Young Leadership Department and a Cabinet co-chairwoman.

Nimhauser shares the chairman position with Las Vegas spine surgeon Hugh Bassewitz. She will provide the overall vision for the UJC’s young leadership cabinet and department. “This is a great opportunity and I am truly honored. It is critical that young people take leadership roles in the Jewish community and make it a priority to help those less fortunate,” she said.

Nimhauser recently returned from an Arizona retreat where 245 people raised $2.2 million for the cause. Nimhauser is no stranger to leadership roles within the Jewish community, having served the national young leadership department as membership vice chairwoman and co-chairwoman of the cabinet study mission.
