Boca woman's focus changes from real estate to her artwork

Linda Botwinick of West Boca Raton is using the downturn in the real estate market to her advantage.

The real estate agent says that as business has shifted, she's been nurturing her artistic side and has 40 paintings on display at Sugar Sand Park, 300 S. Military Trail.

“I am a member of the Boca Museum’s Artists Guild, and this is truly my passion. I do enjoy real estate as well, and it gives me a good right brain/left brain balance,” Botwinick said.

She described her work as Impressionistic and based mostly on her travels. “I ... always bring my camera, and people really seem to relate to the work," she said.

"I heard a saying once that I very much believe in: it is not how many breathes you take in life that counts, but what takes your breathe away,” Botwinick said.

Her work will be on display through Wednesday, Oct. 8. For information call Botwinick at 561-271-8132.
