Jewish women of all ages recently prepared for the new year at the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County’s women’s season kick-off event.

Those in attendance were treated to an afternoon of expert beauty advice, and Temple Beth El Associate Rabbi Jessica Spitalnic Brockman spoke to the crowd about the relationship between inner and outer beauty.

“We are delighted that our outreach throughout the community for this event has been so successful," said Kathy Green, co-chairwoman of the event with Lisa Siemens.

“Almost half the women attending are newcomers, and in this difficult economic period, with so many people in need in our own neighborhoods in Israel and elsewhere, it’s even more important to let people who care know how they can get involved and help,” Green said.
