Ten new group homes to be added to JARC campus
JARC, formerly known as the Jewish Association for Residential Care, operates six group homes for adults with developmental disabilities in South Palm Beach County.
That number will soon grow to 10 homes at JARC’s Yamato Court development near Yamato Road and U.S. Highway 441. Each of the 5,000-square-foot homes has eight bedrooms, back-up generators and hurricane-resistant glass windows.
Developers Harvey Geller and Rob Levy donated the land, and JARC board member Michael Greenberg and Minto Communities also donated their services to the project.
The new campus is named after long-time JARC benefactor Norman Rales, who will be honored at the association’s dinner dance and gala next year.
