FAU opens Alumni Center at Boca campus

Florida Atlantic University, 777 Glades Road, threw open the doors to the new Marleen and Harold Forkas Alumni Center this morning. The two-story, 14,000-square-foot building is on the north side of the campus and will serve as a venue for alumni events and be used for classes as well. The Forkas’ donated $1.1 million to get the ball rolling and other major benefactors include Bank of America, Carole and Barry Kaye, and the state has provided matching funds.
