Nonprofit Hab Center celebrates 30 years of offering training programs

Today Boca Raton's Habilitation Center marks its 30th anniversary of providing assistance to developmentally disabled adults.

The nonprofit at 22313 Boca Rio Road serves about 200 people from Palm Beach and Broward counties, helping them to find jobs in the community.

The Hab Center offers two vocational programs: manufacturing services provides training in assembly and production, and the plant nursery program offers training in plant care, producing close to one million perennial and annual flowers and plants each year.
