The Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce recently named Eastern Financial Credit Union Assistant Vice President Lisa Elkan as 2007-08 "Chamber Person of the Year.” Elkan has been a chamber member since 2004 and was chairwoman of the 2008 Boca Festival Days, the month-long event pairing chamber members with local nonprofits. She is also a member of the chamber’s leads group, participated in the Splash of Gold Fashion Show and is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Boca.
Elkan is also active with several local nonprofits including People Advocating The Haven, Boca Helping Hands and Kids in Distress.
“I want to thank the Boca Chamber for recognizing me with the Chamber Person of the Year Award. I appreciate Eastern Financial for giving me the time and resources to be an active member of the community," Elkan said.
