Boca Raton Fire Rescue Explorer Post #315 recently pitched in to help Jerry’s Kids and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The Explorers joined members of Boca Raton Firefighters Local 1650 for the ‘Fill the Boot’ initiative, and the group collected funds outside two local Publix Supermarkets. They collected more than $900 during the drive, and public information officer Frank Correggio said the group supports several local and national causes.
“The Firefighters of Boca Raton and the Fire Explorers are committed to work together to help find a cure to end neuromuscular diseases,” he said.
