Boca City Council seat up for grabs

Boca Raton City Council Seat B becomes vacant Nov. 30, and they are currently seeking applications from interested parties. The appointment would begin Nov. 30 and run through March 31, and the remaining two years of the term will be filled during the city’s March 10 regular election. The council will consider the appointment during its regular meeting at 6 p.m. Dec. 9 in Council Chambers, 201 W. Palmetto Park Road. Applicants must be at least 18, a resident of the city of Boca and a registered city elector. Interested parties must submit applications by 5 p.m. Dec. 3, which can be downloaded at www.myboca.us or by calling 561-393-7740.
