The Mae Volen Senior Center’s ninth annual "A Love Affair" takes place at 7 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Countess de Hoernle Theatre at Spanish River High School, 5100 Jog Road. The evening of song and dance features The Dancer’s Alchemy and Southern Dance Theater, and all proceeds go toward scholarships for the center’s Alzheimer’s and Dementia Adult Day Care programs. The evening was also created to honor Yolanda Greenly, who founded the Performing Arts for Special Needs Program. Ticket prices vary, and group rates are available.
