No-kill shelter and pet adoption center opens

Animal Aid, Inc, 2266 N. Dixie Highway, opened recently, and the no-kill shelter and pet adoption center also has a thrift store. The shelter takes in abused and neglected animals, along with dogs and cats from high-kill animal control facilities, and the nonprofit organization is currently seeking donations. It is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. For information about adoption possibilities, visit or call 561-393-1463.

I am aware of someone that has been housing 15 cats because she doesn't want them to get killed, but these cats need a home. At this point she cannot afford the food or litter every month because she lost her job, and the cats need shots as well. Can you please let me know if someone can pick them up ? She currently lives in boynton beach fla. I am her daughter and can be reached at 609-477-3734 to discuss what can be done. Also her home is starting to smell like amonia and I don't feel it's sanitary or healthy. I would like a call or email back as to what can be done right away.
