Boca Raton Police detectives need your help in tracking a distraction thief who is a member of an organized ring of traveling criminals. Danny Miller entered the victim’s home under the guise of needing to check her water quality and once inside spilled a corrosive substance on the victim. As she removed her jewelry, per Miller’s instructions, he fled with the jewelry during the confusion. The band of thieves targets older women wearing jewelry at retail locations and follows them home.
