Thomas family reopens market on Clint Moore Road

market.jpgThe Thomas family has been farming in West Boca for 50 years, and they recently reopened their market at 9905 Clint Moore Road.
“My mother and father knew you could farm this area quite well during the winter, and they came from Buffalo as the first farmers in the area,” said 53-year-old Cindy Thomas.
Thomas Produce operated as a U-Pick Farm from 1982 to 2000 but closed for myriad reasons, and it reopened as a traditional market.
“Wherever we would go in the area, people would stop us and pretty much beg us to reopen. It’s such a different feel here than a big chain store, and one of us is always here to talk face-to-face with our customers,” said Cindy’s brother, 62-year-old Norman Thomas.
The market is open seven days a week. For more information, call 561-961-5091.market%20b.jpgCindy Thomas tends to the broccoli.
