New Vista Theatre Company replaces show with variety hour benefit

Due to financial shortcomings, the New Vista Theatre Company has canceled the premiere of "The Shop on Main Street." In its place, the company is putting on a series of benefit performances from April 30 to May 10 titled "The New Vista Variety Hour (and a half)." The 90-minute performances will be hosted by artistic director Avi Hoffman and will feature some of South Florida’s top actors, singers and dancers. Tickets cost $20, and all proceeds will benefit the New Vista Theatre Company. The performances will take place at West Boca High School’s Performing Arts Center, 12811 W. Glades Road. Dates and times vary. For more information, call 561-482-4144 or visit www.newvistatheatre.com.
