City to have meeting about Spanish River Boulevard construction project

The city is hosting a community awareness meeting to address residents' concerns related to the Spanish River Boulevard construction project from 5 to 8 p.m. May 13 at the Marine Safety Headquarters, 3939 N. Ocean Blvd. The $500,000 project is set to begin in the fall of 2010 and conclude by spring 2011, and will entail the following improvements: milling and resurfacing of pavement, installation of new signage and pavement markings, upgrading the guardrail attachments to the Spanish River Bridge and pedestrian facilities to meet ADA requirements.
