Beach bragging rights

The city is asking folks to vote on the North Boca Raton Beach Renourishment Project as the best beach in the U.S. That includes the artificial reef at Red Reef Park.

Voters have until April 27 to vote in the American Shore and Beach Preservation Association competition, which gave the city a Top Restored Beach Award in 2008. Now the group is asking for vote for its 10th anniversary.

“You are allowed one vote from each computer per day. The voting last 30 days, and the most votes wins,” the city said, asking for votes at: http://www.asbpa.org/about_us/about_us_best_restored_beach_2012.htm.
