Mizner Park south end update

Fans of the Lord & Taylor women’s clothing stores will be happy to know the retailer is coming to Mizner Park, cementing plans to revive the south end of the entertainment, shopping and dining complex.
Mizner Park general manager Chris Mohlo confirmed Monday that the store is taking over the large, former Robb & Stucky space sometime next year. No move-in date has been set, he said.
A tenant for the 80,000-square store will complete Mizner Park’s plans for that part of the center that serves as part of the city’s downtown.
The Yard House restaurant has signs on the ground floor of the Mizner Park Cultural Arts Center, and that was announced last year. The restaurant Web site says Boca will be the fourth location in Florida when it opens June 3.
Blue tarps and other heavy construction equipment are transforming the old movie theater to an iPic with intimate viewing salons and a restaurant fronting Federal Highway. They’re shooting for a summer opening, the company announced at a press party several months ago.
