Obama ticket central: City Hall

City Council members got 10 tickets, two each, for President Obama’s slated economic speech Tuesday at Florida Atlantic University.
There were 21 tickets issued by the White House in total, and they were all distributed from City Council offices at City Hall. The rest of the tickets are for elected officials.
Mayor Susan Whelchel said she wasn’t asked to speak.
President Obama’s address will be streamed live by the White House and accessible via the FAU homepage,, according to the university.
Obama spoke at a town meeting in May 2008 at B’nai Torah Congregation, 6261 SW 18th St. in Boca Del Mar when he was running for office.
