Whoops! Obama mispronounces

Mayor Susan Whelchel was a good sport after the President mispronounced her last name and the name of the city at Florida Atlantic University Tuesday.
President Obama gave her a shout-out as Whel-Kill with a hard C and used that other name for the town at his speech at the FAU arena.
“That shout-out was very nice and a special treat and appreciated,” Her Honor said at the city council meeting later that night. “He was very welcoming. Nice. It was an enthusiastic crowd. Everyone felt it was an honor to have the President with us.
“We should ask him to say Boca Raton for his next visit in October,” she noted, shrugging off her name misstep entirely.
Obama will be at Lynn University for the Presidential Debate on Oct. 22.
The mayor had a front row seat and each city official had two tickets. But Councilmember Mike Mullaugh said he and his wife never saw Obama. They ended up in the wrong line and never made it inside.
