Wine and Canines coming up
The third Annual “Fine Wines and Canines” to benefit Marta and Jim Batmasian’s nonprofit, People Reaching Out to Provide Education and Leadership, will be held at the Monument Piazza at Royal Palm Place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 18.
Pet owners can enter their dogs in contests including cutest dog, friendliest dog, best costume, Mr. Congeniality, Miss Congeniality and longest tail. Judges will be: City Council member Constance Scott, and Dorothy Dalton, an internationally certified judge who is a judges at the Westminster Dog Show.
Restaurants will include: Anatolia, Biergarten, Café Auribeau, Caruso’s, Chops Lobster Bar, Cyprus Mediterranean Grill, Estia Greek Taverna, The Funky Biscuit, Fusionarie, Jake’s Stone Crab, Kin Noodle Bar, Lemongrass Asian Bistro, Nino’s of Boca II, Raffaele, Spicy Ginger, Super Dave’s Diner, The Spaniard Tapas Bar & Café, Tucci’s, Yakitori Sake House & 4th Generation Organic Market. Opici Wine Company will be the premier wine sponsor and selections will include wines from Italy, Spain, France, Chile, Argentina and South Africa.
Raffle tickets will be available for pet-friendly products and services.
