Men With Caring Hearts announces winners

Gary Peters received the Outstanding Volunteer Award.

The winners of the 11th annual Men With Caring Hearts Awards Luncheon, hosted by Florence Fuller Child Development Centers, were Gary Peters and Bronsen Bloom.
The Outstanding Volunteer Award went to Peters, nominated for his work with Boca Helping Hands. Peters received $2,500. The “Youth in Philanthropy Award” went to Bronsen Bloom, nominated for his work with Florence Fuller. Bloom received a $1,000 check from sponsor Toshiba Business Solutions, and a Toshiba laptop.
The awards luncheon on April 26 at Boca West Country Club gave local non-profit organizations the opportunity to recognize and thank male volunteers. The event also featured the 2012 Tiffany Biggest Heart for Abdol Moabery, president and CEO of GA Telesis LLC. Boca Raton philanthropist Martin Stein received the 2012 Tiffany Lifetime Achievement. Stein announced he was donating the funding for a new school bus for Florence Fuller’s West Boca campus.
More than 500 guests attended the event, presented by the Club Managers Seminole Region Charity Committee. Luncheon co-chairs were Jay DiPietro, general manager of Boca West, and Jason Solodkin, of NFP Financial Group Inc. Fuller board member Neil Meany was master of ceremonies and guests were welcomed by board president, Peggy Henry.
