New Mexican restaurant trying to bring something new to Boynton
The theme for the new Mexican restaurant Las Gaoneras, 1701 N. Congress Ave., is authentic bullfighting.
The owner Marco Rengal said along with the theme, the signature dish is the Gaonera Plate with six pieces of pounded tenderloin. The six pieces represent the six bulls in a bullfight.
"Sometimes there are eight bulls, but usually just six in each fight," he said.
On top of the tenderloin are homemade tortillas, which also represent he capes of the bullfighters.
“We want to bring real authentic Mexican food to Boynton Beach,” Rengal said. “Plus there is no Mexican restaurant in the area other than in maybe Lantana or Delray Beach.”

Bullfighting is a disgrace. That in-it-self, as the theme, will stop most people from going to this restaurant (including me). What's next, a DOG FIGHTING themed restaurant??? There are plenty of dog fighters in Boynton, so it won't be long. Idiot!!!!!

Culture or not, bullfighting is the most indefensible type of animal abuse. "A cowardly picador slams a spear into a bull from relative safety on top of a horse. The bull attacks the horse, believing it be the source of his torment. The horse is used as a living shield by a thug who doesn't know the meaning of integrity, bravery, or a fair fight."

Bullfighting is banned throughout the UK and the Commonwealth nations, as well as most of Europe. This savagery involves two beautiful animals, bulls and horses. While the bulls are guaranteed to die, the future of the horses is often no brighter. It is, after all, banned throughout the UK and the Commonwealth nations, as well as most of Europe. In countries where bullfighting is allowed it is increasingly becoming recognised as sheer barbarity. This savagery involves two beautiful animals, bulls and horses. While the bulls are guaranteed to die, the future of the horses is often no brighter.
