UPDATED: Funeral arrangements announced for Margate Commissioner Bross

Members of the Margate City Commission confirmed that longtime city commissioner Arthur Bross died Wednesday afternoon.
Bross had been battling an aggressive form of prostate cancer since March and had been going through treatment, though it did not have much effect, his son Dennis Bross said Thursday morning.
A viewing for Bross will be held Sunday, October 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kraeer Funeral Home, located at 1 North State Road 7 in Margate.
Bross's funeral service will be Monday October 18 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent Catholic Church. The church is located at 6350 NW 18th Street in Margate. Burial services will immediately follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetary in North Lauderdale.
Bross, 74, was elected to the commission six times and served for more than 20 years. He moved to Margate with his family in 1972 and was instrumental in the development of the city.
