Tip-A-Cop police fundraiser in Creek

Bru’s Room in Coconut Creek, 5460 West Hillsboro Boulevard, is helping sponsor the Tip-A-Cop fundraiser by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office to help benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics on April 26.

Next week, April 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sheriff’s deputies help the wait staff run food and fill drink orders while collecting separate tips for the Torch Run, which starts in Hallandale Beach and stretches to Deerfield Beach. Special Olympics athletes will also participate in the run, and will then go on to compete with other Special Olympics athletes nationwide.

For information about the Tip-A-Cop fundraiser, call 954-786-4201.
