Margate Community College

Eighteen Margate residents recently graduated from the first semester of Margate’s new program – Margate Community College.

The program is an eight-week interactive citizen’s academy for residents over the age of 18 who want to learn how the city government works. Employees of Margate, including the city manager, department directors, and other city staff host the sessions designed to show residents exactly what it takes to run a city.

A new term is tentatively set to begin Tuesday, October 2. Check future issues of The Forum for updates or call the city at 954-935-5300.
