Christmas is coming to Coral Springs early this year.
On July 29, The Coral Springs Jaycees will sponsor a Christmas in July fundraiser at the Tijuana Taxi Company, 901 N. University Drive, from 6 to 9 p.m. The event will include food, karaoke, a psychic, tarot readers and raffles each hour.
The money collected will go to Jaycees’ The Joy Program, which provides Thanksgiving baskets to needy families in Coral Springs and a holiday shopping spree to underprivileged children.

The name of The Programis Spreading The Joy, which provides Thanksgiving baskets to needy families and takes needy children from the families on a holiday shopping spree. This fundraiser began the efforts for The Coral Springs Jaycees to help those in need this year. On october 4 The Jaycees will meet at Tijuana Taxi Company at 2:00 PM. The general public will have an opportunity to make monetary donations or to drop off non-pershiable items for the food baskets. Mr. Food No Fuss Meals has agreed to donate Potatoes for The Food baskets. To make other donations call 561-367-9281.
