Claudette Bruck to seek re-election in November

Coral Springs Vice Mayor Claudette Bruck, who is running for commissioner again in November, wants to improve the look of the city and attract more businesses.

“If I could change two things about Coral Springs, I would lift it above this nation’s economic strife so that more funds would be available to step up beautification,” Bruck said in an interview. “It is incumbent upon us to maintain high standards in order to maintain values in our communities; aside from what is happening due to the national economy.”

“I would also work closely with our Economic Development Foundation to help attract and retain more businesses to fill the office, retail and industrial park vacancies created by the economy,” Bruck said. “By doing this, we shift the tax burden from residential to business/commercial.”

"I believe I have done an honorable job in serving our citizens and wish to continue to do so," Bruck said. "There has never been a time when it was as important as it is today, to have continuity in service."
