Police search for Springs woman missing since March 23

Coral Springs police are searching for city resident Surya Sari-Prihatin Toha, 41, who went missing on March 23.

Toha was last seen March 23 taking her two sons to James S. Hunt Elementary School in the city. She was driving a silver 4-door 2001 Daewoo Nubira with the tag # 502HUV; the vehicle is also missing. From Indonesia, Toha is 5’4” and weighs 110 pounds.

At a press conference on Monday, her husband, Munawar Toha, said he had no clue where his wife was. He also said that he did not think she would never leave her children. “I don’t understand why this happened.”

Police are not ruling out foul play. “We are not eliminating foul play. It could be an accident; she could have gone missing on her own. We are looking at everything; we are checking the canals,” said detective Scott Myers, who is investigating the case.

Surya’s sister Titi Holgrum, and her brother-in-law Noel wanted the public to help find her. “We love you; we are praying for you. We ask that you come back. Anyone who has seen my sister, please contact the police,” Holgrum said.

Those who have information about the case should call the Coral Springs Police Department at 954-344-1800 or detective Scott Myers at 954-346-1229.
