Springs, Parkland students to feature inState science fair

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Pratheek Nagaraj (Mathematics) and the Sawgrass Springs Middle School team of Sarju Patel and Sarung Patel (Computer Science) will be among the 17 students from Broward County Public Schools attending the 57th annual Florida State Science and Engineering Fair next month in Lakeland.

The middle and high school students earned their slots at the state competition by excelling at Broward’s annual fair, one of the largest fairs and science, technology, engineering and math expos in the state. Results for all students and schools at the local level can be found at browardscience.com.
At the state fair, four high school students who demonstrate excellence will be selected to attend the International Science and Engineering Fair in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania in May.
