Temple Beth Orr presents author of “What Papa Told Me”

Temple Beth Orr is organizing a book review event from 7 to 8 p.m. on April 16 to discuss “What Papa Told Me,” a book written by Felice Cohen on her grandfather Murray Schwartzbaum’s life. Cohen and her grandfather will be present for discussion.

“What Papa Told Me,” is the story of Murray Schwartzbaum, a survivor. Schwartzbaum was a young Jewish boy from Poland, whose courage and sheer will to live helped him survive eight different labor and concentration camps in the Holocaust, start a new life in America, and keep a family intact in the aftermath of his wife’s suicide.

Books will be available for purchase and signing at the free event that is open to the public. The event is organized by the Ronni & Jeff Roth Z/S Hymowitz Library Fund. For details, contact Ilayne Finkelstone at a223@aol.com or the Temple office at 954-753-3232.

Temple Beth Orr is located in Coral Springs at 2151 Riverside Drive.
