Coral Springs gets ready for Springs Community Chest Golf Classic

http://www.coralsprings.org/organizations/details.cfm?organizationid=56The 11th annual Coral Springs Community Chest Golf Classic will take place at the Tournament Players Club at Eagle Trace in Coral Springs on April 30.

The cost for the tournament is $225 per player or $900 per foursome and includes greens and cart fees, drink tickets, awards luncheon and gift pack. Sponsorship opportunities from $5,000 to $150 are currently available.

Registration is at 8 a.m. The shotgun start in a four-person scramble format is at 9 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for first and second place, closest to the pin, longest drive and straightest drive. Hole-in-one car sponsor is Al Hendrickson Toyota. The deadline to register is April 20. For an application or details, call 954-344-1144.

Coral Springs Community Chest, founded in 1988, funds non-profit organizations that have services and programs benefiting Coral Springs residents. Last year, funded organizations included Abi’s Place, Aging and Disability Resource Center, Alzheimer’s Association Southeast Florida Chapter, Alzheimer’s Family Center Achievement and Rehabilitation Centers, and Brookwood Florida-East.
