Springs’ landlord training workshop on May 2

Coral Springs will organize a “landlord training workshop” from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on May 2 at the Northwest Regional Library at 3151 University Drive.

The workshop is being organized in light of the recent requirements for landlords to register their units. Discussions will include compliance with Fair Housing laws and regulations, code enforcement and inspections. The workshop will also include the overview of the Landlord Registration Program and the Nuisance Abatement Program.

A representative from HOPE, Inc., Code Enforcement, Community Development and the Police Department will be at the event to answer questions.
