More than 300 episodes of health show available at library

The Alvin Sherman Library in Davie now has a collection of more than 300 episodes of the Nova Southeastern University-produced television show "Dateline: Health" available on DVD to the public.

Each 30-minute episode, hosted by Fred Lippman, chancellor of NSU’s Health Professions Division, provides information about contemporary health care issues discussed by experts, researchers and policymakers.

Since its inception in 1998, the show has received multiple awards and was recently chosen as a Telly Award winner for excellence in the educational video/film category.
