Broward League of Cities issuing Million Hour Volunteer Challenge

league.jpg

Broward League of Cities president and Fort Lauderdale City Commissioner Bobby Dubose has issued the Million Hour Volunteer Challenge in an effort to increase community service throughout Broward County.

DuBose is encouraging Broward residents to complete 1 million volunteer service hours by May 31. To participate in the challenge, residents can log service hours online at browardleague.org/volunteerchallenge.

The page features a barometer to show the county's progress and how many hours are needed to reach the goal. Residents can participate in any volunteer project of their choice.
