Cooper City is hosting an evening of events for mothers and their sons.

The Mom & Son Fun Night will run from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Cooper City Community Center, 9000 SW 50th Place. Tickets are $10 per person and must be purchased in advance at the Community Center. The event is open only to Cooper City residents, and boys must be in kindergarten through fifth grade. The event will include dinner, games and prizes.
