Tau Rho Omicron Christian Sorority, one of the newest community service and entrepreneurial Christian organizations, is having its first Founders Day Luncheon on Sunday, Sept. 16.

Celebrating their first year, founders Freda Stevens and Toni Seaton welcome the community to learn about what they do and who they are. Featured luncheon guest speaker will be Christian author and business owner/consultant evangelist Elveria Lloyd-Webb.

Stevens founded the organization last September in Davie. Tau Rho Omicron is involved in the community through Feeding America and the American Diabetes Association.

On Sept. 22, local members will be participating in the American Diabetes Association’s Walk at Marlins Park in Miami.
