The Rebuilding Together Broward Annual Olympiad Games will take place from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds, 4271 Davie Road in Davie.

This free family event will feature teams from around Broward County competing in a series of home improvement-themed events, including the Wheelbarrow Derby, Florida Handsaw Massacre, Hook Me Up, and Level Plumb and True.

The Florida Panthers Patrol will be on hand providing activities for kids, including a bounce house and other interactive games. The Kids Korner will also feature a toilet paper toss, bowling, face painting and more.

The Olympiad Games is the signature annual fundraising event of the nonprofit Rebuilding Together Broward. Event proceeds are used to further the mission of "bringing volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners."

There is still time to sign up your team of four. For more information, visit
