Notice something different about the Northeast Second Avenue Bridge over the Hillsboro Canal?
As of today, it is open, according to Miranda Iglesias, spokesman for the Flordia Department of Transportation’s Broward Construction.
Miranda said that beginning Wednesday, one-way traffic moving south from the city of Boca Raton to Deerfield Beach has a lane of its own – part of an ongoing $39.5 million project that includes the Dixie Flyover, bicycle lanes, sidewalks and a pedestrian bridge east of the overpass.
