Obama supporters are 'fired up and ready to go' after victory

Delray Beach based artist Sharon Koskoff wants to “keep up the momentum” from President-Elect Barack Obama’s win.

“I’m organizing a "Fired Up and Ready to Go" gathering this Thursday for everyone in the area to keep up the momentum from Obama's victory. Will you join us?” Koskoff said.

The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20 at a private residence in Delray Beach.

“There are over 1,300 of these events happening all around the country on Thursday. The plan is to kick off a big campaign to help Obama pass the bold, progressive changes he talked about during the campaign. There'll also be some time to celebrate the big win with other Obama supporters in the neighborhood.”
The event is free and open to everyone.

“This is put on by www.moveon.org and last time we did this, before the election… 65 people showed up,” Koskoff said.
