Baritone Metropolitan Opera singer Dean Peterson to perform with Delray Beach Chorale this Saturday

The Delray Beach Chorale will welcome Metropolitan Opera singer Dean Peterson for an upcoming performance as part of its 30th anniversary celebration. Peterson is a baritone with the New York Metropolitan Opera, a regular guest at leading opera houses of the world and has a hometown connection. He attended Florida Atlantic University where he obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in vocal performance. He will show his singing skills when he joins the Delray Beach Chorale at its Spring Concert, “An Afternoon at the Opera,” at 3 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church, 33 Gleason St.

Peterson's resume includes singing engagements with the New York Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, San Francisco Opera, Houston Grand Opera, the Teatro alla Scala Milan, the Vienna State Opera, and La Scala.
