Local TV news anchor to sling drinks at hot local nightspot for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

A local TV news anchor plans to sling cocktails at a Delray Beach night hotspot in an effort to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society South Palm Beach County Chapter.

Suzanne Boyd, the popular WPEC-TV CBS 12 News anchor, will be the celebrity bartender from 6:30 to 9 p.m. this Wednesday night at Boston’s on the Beach, 40 S. Ocean Blvd.
Boyd will be making cocktails for tips that will honor 4-year-old Ryan Alarcon, a Boca Raton resident and Leukemia survivor.

Boyd is also a candidate for Woman of the Year by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society South Palm Beach County Chapter.

There will also be auction items and music by the Amber Leigh Band at the event.
