Hollywood and Hallandale Beach, in partnership with the Florida Atlantic University Small Business Development center, will have a business training workshop on Nov. 12.

The workshop, "Human Resources: A Guide for Business Growth," will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hollywood Branch Library, 2600 Hollywood Blvd.

The workshop will cover the following topics:
· Understand the function of human resources for small business
· Determine how to develop positive employee relations
· Learn how to interview and hire an employee
· Recognize the requirements from the Department of Labor
