Chance to plant sea oats in Hollywood

Interested in restoring beaches, dunes and helping wildlife?

The Kids Ecology Corps, Hollywood and the Broward Soil and Water Conservation District are inviting parents and their children to a sea oat planting from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, Jan. 25.

Participants will meet at Harry Berry Park, 301 Azalea Terrace.

Make sure to wear closed-toe shoes, sunblock or hat. Drinks, gloves and the sea oats will be provided.
